Tava: Spud Mountain Sunset

The view across the vast San Juan Mountains from Purgatory is nothing short of spectacular.

The photo reference was taken on a full moon night with the snow glistening in the moonlight. Then my husband turned to me and said, "You have to paint that!".

The full moon mountain turned into an alpenglow scene, and I call her, Tava: Spud Mountain Sunset.
